Made you look! đ Hereâs the real story...
Celebrating Friendship and Connection at the Care Centre on International Friendship Day
At the heart of Life Health Solutions, are a group of Care Centre agents who are not just colleaguesâtheyâre a family. Through Life Health Solutions' Employee Wellness Programme, these fifty Care Centre agents work round-the-clock providing counselling and support to those who need it.
This year, in a delightful show of camaraderie, the team celebrated #InternationalFriendshipDay with an exchange of coffee mugs. Why coffee mugs? They serve as a token of appreciation and respect they have for each other. Furthermore, in a high-pressure environment such as a call centre, it's a practical reminder for colleagues to pause and take a well-deserved break.
The internal gathering took place on 30 July at the Head Office Care Centre. The idea worked like âSecret Santaâ where every participant got the name of the colleague they had to buy a mug for. There was no limit to the amount they could spend on the coffee mug; because just like true friendship, itâs meant to be priceless.
âWe couldn't think of a better way to celebrate International Friendship Day than by exchanging coffee mugs,â says Randi Kunz-Steyn (Team Leader, Life Health Solutions Care Center). The gesture, though simple, was a powerful reminder of the strong friendships that have been formed within our department. âAs we continue to navigate the challenges of our work, itâs these moments of connection that remind us that weâre part of something biggerâ.
The day was filled with smiles and heartfelt moments as they swapped mugs. They also exchanged selfies and group pics. At the end of it all, it was simply a very special day.
Hereâs to the care centre agents who are always there when we call â thank you for being a friend đ
